A Day in the Death
of Joe Egg

Written by Peter Nichols
Directed by Cary Leiter
The Studio Theatre, Wayne State University
2004

The Design concept for this 1967 black comedy was to give the show a slightly abrasive feel; a hyper-reality with the color volume and contrasts cranked a little high. For more blow-by-blow design details, see the commentary attached to the individual renderings.
The renderings were done in Micron Pens and Higgins Inks, on Canson “cold press surface” watercolor paper.
